It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas

This would be the opportune time to have a digital camera and take a picture. But naturally, none such exists. But I digress. This is just a quick note to say that it snowed. A lot. (See, and this would be the point where I show you all a lovely picture of the backyard or something). While outside shoveling for two hours, one question was continually haunting me. What evolutionary adaptation is it to have a runny nose while outside in the cold? It doesn't make my nose any warmer, I just end up with frozen nose excrement on my upper lip. As sexy as that can possibly be, it's not really a desired outcome on my part. And yet, time and time again, without fail, everytime it is cold I (and assumingly most people as normal as me) will come down with a runny nose while exposed to the elements. I personally do not find this helpful in the least.

On a sidenote, the snow was still light and fluffy, so not really that big of a pain to shovel. Waste your pity on someone else who decides to procrastinate until the point where the snow weighs 8.67 tons.

Good day, and if I do not see you before then, Merry Christmakuhwanzaa.
