Flying Cupids

It has been an insanely long time since I've updated my ol' friend here and for that, many apologies. Currently I don't really have a whole lot of time for an extended update. But I think it's worth it to be cliche and say
Happy Valentine's Day :-D

So I'm not really a huge fan of the holiday, but it's just another day, right? Actually, I can't even say that anymore...I used to not like the holiday, but there's no reason to anymore I realize. Even with being single and all (as I'm apt to be) there's no reason to be bitter. I have so many people in my life who I love and feel loved in return, it matters not. I can not extend enough thanks to the many wonderful people in my life who continue to allow me to shed my Love upon them. A big thank you to all of you.

It doesn't help that this has been a fantastic morning. Yes, it's only 9am and this has been a fantastic morning. When Hilary is right, she is right. I woke up unreasonably early this morning so that I may have the pleasures of having a morning meal commonly known as breakfast uptown with the loverly Kimi Young (who I do not see nearly enough), the beautiful and talented Karen Gotter (whose birthday is fast approaching), and, naturally, Hilary, for whom I am so incredibly thankful for this year. It was a fantastic breakfast and it really did help to brighten the day and just make life seem truly beautiful. So woot for that.

Things have been fantastic this semester. Maybe that's why I haven't been updating. I tend to update when I'm feeling down it seems. And I would love to share all this happiness with you, but today probably isn't the day. At least not now. I should be getting ready for a long day of classes and all that jazz. Tuesday's aren't usually the shortest of days. Much to do.

I have come across the list of crazy people/occurances that happened over this summer at Cedar Point, so hopefully sometime I can get that up. What else is stewing in the books? More movie reviews, maybe some music reviews, and a summary of some of the great happiness happening this semester.

Miami University's Tri-Annual Charter Day Ball was this weekend and it was absolutely fantastic. Pics are up on my flickr site [site|Charter Day Ball]. Not a lot of pics were taken (we were too busy dancing! My calves still hurt...) but you can at least get an idea. I was sporting a stylish suit straight from the '40's, a '60's stretchy red polyester shirt, and a faux hawk, courtesy of Hilary. Everyone looked absolutely amazing and gorgeous. What a fantastic night.

Ok, for real...I should be getting ready for class. Maybe we can have a good chit-chat later.

Many Smiles
Brandon Michael
