Vagina's and Pineapple

Sasha Cohen- I Love you. And I want to take you home. And this part of the blog is going to be a random slideshow dedicated to her. I just think that she is pretty much the essence of "cute" and "adorable" in every way imaginable. She just seems like an incredibly sweet and kind person, and she appears to be chock full of personality. A very colorful, vivacious person. She had an amazing short program in figure skating in the 2006 Torino Olympics and ended up finishing figure skating with a silver medal under her belt after the disappointing long program. Frankly...I'm surprised she did so well considering her last performance. But I am proud of her, and I really hope to see her skate again at the next olympics. I don't entirely know what it is...but I just think she is the most amazing person I have ever watched skate. She just seems incredibly beautiful and artistic and aesthetically pleasing in everything she does on the ice. She truly captivates all of my attention when she skates. It was nice to see her awarded as such. Sasha...I look forward to seeing you skate again. And keep on smiling. I think she kind of reminds me of Audrey Tautou...maybe thats a part of it. I dunno. I just want to take you home.
In other news, today I went on my second date of the week with my beautiful and amazing wife Hilary to see The Vagina Monologues, directed by our very own Sally Harrison-Pepper who I had the great pleasure of having as my prof. last semester for my feminist theater class. I also had quite a few friends who were in it which is always fun to see. It also helps that it was on the first floor of Peabody, where I happen to live in good ol' Leonard Theater. Everyone seriously did an amazing job and I'm very glad that I was able to see it, and that the proceeds go to a great charity. I recommend that if you haven't seen it...to go do so. Truly an amazing piece and worthy of all the acclaim it has received. It was actually quite a bit funnier than I thought it was going to be. Always a plus in my books, especially since it still retained the power that's so mandatory in making it a success.

My Human Nature paper isn't due until monday now. This excites me. Especialy since I already started it. Kind of. It looks like I'll be having all weekend to work on it though...nothing seems to be happening this weekend. I'm a little sad/bitter about that. But that's ok. I'll get over it. The last couple of weekends have been really fun, so that's cool.

I feel like there were other things I was wanting to say when I started this off. I guess I just got really sidetracked by the beauty that is Sasha Cohen. Sigh. lol.

At this point...I guess it is toodles for now.

Peace and Pillows
